A delightful read for Christmas or any time of Year!

This story starts with a dramatic flair of frustration as Lexi is back home with her family after losing her job working on a crew in Formula 1 Racing. She is frustrated by finding doors closed to her for getting a job on another crew. She feels she is being barred for breaking her contract when she rushed home for a family emergency and now she can't get back to doing what she knows and feels is her place in the world.
So she is back in the Village she grew up in and helping out in the family business. It's a lovely shop called The Four Seasons and as it is Christmas time, the shop is hopping with business thanks to her brothers taking it online too. So the family is thrilled to have her home even if she isn't entirely happy with the circumstances that landed her here.  But she is happy to be with her family and friends whom she loves dearly.
She soon meets business man and single father, Cal Martin, and his adorable son, George. They come in the shop as she is building a wreath and George is instantly fascinated with what she is doing. She finds herself drawn to both from the start but fights that attraction. She soon finds out he is her best friend Xander's boss and says "Oh your The Cal". He buys a bunch of Christmas decorations and they chat a bit.

Through most of the story you see Lexi fighting her attraction to Cal and losing her heart to his son. But in the process the story unfolds showing why she lost her job, how her heart had been broken before and why she feels she can never have love like everyone else. We also get to know more about Cal and George, how he became a single dad and how having George changed his world.

This is a wonderful story of close knit family, love and overcoming fears and heartaches.

A delightful story for Christmas or anytime of the year!
