Lorna Barrett, Booktown Mystery, Book 10, "Title Wave"

Tricia, Angelica and many of the people from Stoneham were on their way to a cruise to Bermuda. Their bus had run into some delays and they were eager to get to the ship in New York soon. Tricia is still morning the loss of her ex-husband Christopher and hoping to read and lose herself on this trip. The ship they are taking is having a writer's convention and so between reading and getting to network with authors she felt she would have a good time.

That is until they get to the boarding to find a totally unagreeable EM Barstow with assistant in tow starts trying to throw her weight around to get boarded faster. Hoping her temper tantrums wouldn't spoil the trip, the Miles Sisters and friends from Stoneham board the ship and head to settle their stuff into their cabins. Tricia and Angelica meet with their close friends in one of the finer dining rooms for dinner that evening only to find EM there and once again throwing a fit.

After a rocky start they have an enjoyable dinner and get ready for the first day of panels and mingling with the authors and publishers who are on board for the cruise. Tricia is thrilled to see Fiona Sample, an author who has been to her shop "Haven't Got a Clue" a few times and is also the mother of her friend Nikki.

The mystery and a murder happen a bit further in and as usual, it's Tricia who finds the body. At first it is suspected it's a suicide, but is it? This is what Tricia feels compelled to unravel.

Another thrilling and unexpected series of clues and misdirection await in this fun Cozy Mystery the 10th in Lorna Barrett's very wonderful Booktown Mystery Series! I love how the characters are so real and evolving throughout the series. You feel as if you have actually visited Stoneham and gotten to know Angelica, Tricia, Grace, Mr. Everett, Pixie, Ginny, Antonio and little Sophia and all the rest of the lovely members of this village as you delve into each book and work to solve the riddle of who the killer might be.

Title Wave is a great read and I can't wait to delve into each new book to come! Find it here on Amazon!
